Big Table Farm, Wild Bee Chardonnay, 2018

btf-Wild-Bee-bshot

Every wine comes from a place, but the best wine can only come from an extraordinary place. Welcome to Oregon.

Oregon is a world-class wine region. It is a place of craftmanship, a place where a winemaker’s heart is poured into every bottle. It is here that we find the organically farmed ‘Wild Bee’ Chardonnay from Big Table Farm in Oregon, USA.

This superb wine starts you off with light citrus & spice notes that combine with apple and exotic fruit that take shape in the glass. Largely aged in used French oak, it has wonderful brightness and a silky texture. Lemon and citrus combine with undertones of minerality to bring the whole sensory journey together. The finish has gentle almond notes.

Layered and rich.  Esoteric and outstanding. This wine is light on its feet, refreshing and effortless.

About the Producer

Big Table Farm in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, is the collaborative effort of husband-and-wife team Brian Marcy, winemaker, and Clare Carver, artist. Their goal is to ‘grow and produce what we love to eat and drink’. In 2006, Brian and wife Clare moved to Oregon to start working on their shared dream: a full working estate managed under a farm-to-table philosophy. Their first 150 cases were released in the same year. Their Oregon adventure is based upon a shared desire to grow grapes, make wine and raise animals.
